The Family of Roy Phillips would like to thank each of you for your generous expression of sympathy and respect at the memorial on Saturday, April 21st. Our family deeply appreciates all those who took part in honoring him for his service. The thoughtfulness presented to us on that day provided great comfort.
On behalf of my family, I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of the members of the Brazoria County Cavalry for the ongoing efforts to support those who serve to keep us safe. May God bless each and every one of you!
Thanks again for your act of kindness to our family,
Misty Carpenter

Thanks team from the LeCompte family. As always you came thru with a big ole Texas welcome home for Kenneth (Pork Chop) & his wife Katherine. They will only be home for a few days so scheduling was critical. The bike count was impressive as well as the cages. We have sent five grandsons to that place over there and you were here to help us welcome four of them home. (Kerry LeCompte, Richard LeCompte, Chris Davis, and Pork Chop)
Thank you folks,
Larry LeCompt, Sr.

It was greatly appreciated what the Brazoria County Cavalry did for my sons this past Sunday 3-25-12. My sons were very honored by the great acts of kindness you showed them. I also am humbled and honored for the recognition and rewards you bestowed on me. This will be a weekend my family will never forget and are grateful beyond words for what the Brazoria County Cavalry did for our boys. May our Almighty God richly bless you and guide you in everything you do. Jesus is faithful and rewards those who seek him. Jennifer and I are looking forward to seeing you again soon as we send off another son to the service of our great country in July. We love you and are praying for you daily until we meet again.

The family and friends of decorated Viet Nam Veteran, Herman “Roy” Zettel, wish to express our sincere thanks to The Brazoria County Cavalry for their participation at his Memorial Service. The dignity and patriotism honoring this American Hero was instrumental in the acceleration of the grieving and healing process we felt due to our loss. “Thank You” seems insufficient in this case, but rest assured that our gratitude comes from deep with our hearts.

My husband, Herman Roy Zettel was a simple man. He spoke some but not a lot of his service experience. He was not a man to speak of how he honored his country with his service. He never would have thought himself a Hero. Even though, I know he was proud of the job he did in the service. I know that his time in the service of this country, shape him into the man I loved. The Brazoria County Cavalry showed me that his service was honored and greatly appreciated. I was impressed with every aspect of the service. My husband would have been extremely impressed and honored by the Cavalry’s expression of honor and appreciation. I am so please that Roy Edwards convinced me to allow the Brazoria County Cavalry to be a part of honoring my husband. It will be a memory of him and the Cavalry that I will not forget. Our service men and women, also their family’s need to know what your origination shows them, Respect, Honor and Appreciation for their service to their Country and Freedom.
With Heart Felt Thanks To All,
Gwen Zettel
