Brimage Family Thank You 4-7-14

Everyone Involved With The Brazoria County Cavalry,

On behalf of my father Gary T. Brimage Sr., his wife Lisa, and the entire Brimage Family, I would like to express our sincere gratitude to The Brazoria County Cavalry for your moving and honorable presentation and tribute to my father’s service as a Law Enforcement Officer for the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Department. Even more appreciated is the kindness, respect, and sympathy offered by each individual member of the Cavalry in attendance. We cannot thank the Heroes of the Brazoria County Cavalry enough for the tremendous service that you provide in honoring Brazoria County’s fallen Heroes. We will forever be grateful.

 Respectfully,

The Brimage Family

Words from Sam Rowe’s Family 3-29-14

Cavalry,

Sorry for the delayed response. I’ve been trying to get the right words together to properly convey just how much your kindness and generosity have meant to our family.

Losing Sam has been an incredibly trying time for all of us and knowing that we had you, your family, and the entire Cavalry family in our corner certainly made the dark days seem a little brighter. It is incredibly clear to me why Sam enjoyed being a part of your group.

With Sam’s military background, camaraderie and a sense of belonging to something bigger was always a big part of his identity. Thank you so much for giving that back to him. I know leaving the Coast Guard and that family was a tough decision and I truly believe that when he joined the cavalry he felt that bond again! Being a part of the cavalry gave him a sense of brotherhood, strength, and friendship.

Your friendship meant more to him than I could possibly convey with words. Thank you just doesn’t seem like enough.

I will be in touch once we have the details set for his military service. I’m so thankful that we got to meet you and your wife. You are officially a part of the extended Rowe family 🙂

Please feel free to share this with the Cavalry (if you choose to).

Words from Villarreal Family 3-22-14

Brazoria County Cavalry,

I would like to thank you for your wonderful tribute to our son, Michael aka Junie.  Your kindness and out pouring of sympathy and compassion for our family was felt by all.  The escort to Junie’s final resting place was a tremenous site to see.  It was very moving and emotional for everyone envolved.  The Villarreal family would like to thank you for the service that you offered in honoring one that was loved my so many.

3/1/14 Anniversary Thank You Michael Mata

Cavalry,
I had the opportunity and privileged of attending the Brazoria County Cavalry 6 year Anniversary ceremony this past weekend and I have to say what a First Class Event!! I must give credit and praise to the organizers of this event. Having spent 20+ years on active duty and still working on a military installation as a civilian, I have had the opportunity to attend several military related ceremonies and this matched and/or exceeded any I have attended. The pride and Love for God and Country could be felt in the room and by everyone in attendance. Just a quick note to say thank you again and to keep up the good work. I look forward to attending future events and keeping in contact with the Brazoria County Cavalry.

2/17/14 Honoring Jeff Jefferies

BCC,
Sorry it took this long to send this.  I would like to thank everyone that was at my dads last ride home.  He would of have been honored to be there and see everyone that was there.  He was a great man and a great father and husband to my mom.  I will never get over lossing him. But I am so proud that y’all were there to send him of with that special touch.  I know I’m not good at writing things but I try.    Thank y’all with all my heart.  I am so proud that even after all the stuff about the flags that my friends chose to fly the flags in my fathers honor.  Y’all did a wonderful honor for my father,my mom and me.    I thank y’all again for the honor you showed my father on his last ride. Sincerely
Justin D Jeffries
