Thank you so much to all of the members of Brazoria County Cavalry for making my son’s, T.J.’s homecoming such a memorable one. The deep roar of the motorcycles, and the sirens from the fire trucks as our son was paraded through our town and the outpouring of well wishes from your members and our community, brought tears to our eyes as well as our soldier’s! He returns to Iraq on June 22nd and will remain in the Military Police Service until March of 2009. Knowing that the caring people of Brazoria County will be praying for him will make him feel that what he is doing is truly appreciated. I am sure the motorcycle ride and parade through town will be the subject of a lot of stories when he returns to his Company. All he could say to me when everyone left was “Man that was awesome!” Thank you again for taking time out of your schedules to make our servicemen and women feel appreciated.
God Bless You!

We definitely were blessed! Thank you very much for making Colton’s trip home a wonderful experience. I know that when he is deployed to Kuwait, the memory of your support will be very special to him. We cannot put in words what the experience meant to us as a family. Thank you again and God Bless Brazoria County Cavalry!

I want to “Thank You” from the bottom of my heart for all you did yesterday (May 17, 08). I was honored and proud to hold a flag in his memory. All of you proudly represent your code of honor and my husband and I are truly blessed to be a part of the family of Brazoria County Cavalry. Again, thank you for being there for my sister, her family and Charlie’s family. It is a day I will treasure always. My sister said everyone was talking about how beautiful and touching it was. God Bless each and every one of you and may He always be in your life.

I would like to thank each and everyone of who participated with the funeral arrangement of my father, Les Downing. Even though my father’s death was expected, when the time came, it was even harder than I imagined. I am very grateful to Brazoria County Cavalry, to honor him in this way, I know he would have been honored. As a Veteran myself, I believe that we are all here to serve a purpose and it doesn’t stop once you are a civilian again, only intensifies what we all protected, our Freedom. My father, help establish what is today, called the National ABATE of America, starting with Brazoria County. Both he and my Mom were members and heavily involved in the rights of “bikers”. Special thanks go to Tracy Read for his guidance and Cliff Gutzman for his commitment of honor my father and my very close friend, Tracy Turner, who had worked for my father and became a long time friend of the family, I thank you. With closing, my heart was filled with emotion on the day of my father’s funeral, as I just lost my mother 5 months early. The Brazoria County Cavalry clearly was a great attribute to me and my family. I thank you…..
