2/16/2013 – BCC Anniversary
This was my first mission with the BCC (I was with the RT wall group). Although I have ridden with some members of the BCC at PGR missions, it was awesome to have a chance to meet your BCC members and veterans – great to put a name with a face.
Your presentation was inspiring especially when you recognized those in Brazoria County that have done so much for the community. My grandfather was a WWI veteran and was a minister in Brazoria County many, many, years ago.
Please pass on my THANKS to those BCC members that helped Pat & I disassemble the wall and store it in the trailer. Thanks again for all that BCC does for the community and our veterans!!

DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran – whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve – is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to “The United States of America”, for an amount of “up to and including my life.” Author Unknown
‘It’s the Veteran, not the reporter, who has given us the freedom of the press.’
‘It’s the Veteran, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech.’
‘It’s the Veteran, not the community organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate.’
‘It’s the Military who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag.’
