12/26/10 – Tomas Kuchar

 Just wanted to say thanks so much for coming out Sunday, 12/26/10 to honor my nephew Thomas Kuchar. I can never say thank you enough or express how much it meant to all of our family. Thomas was so surprised and so happy that his Dad rode with you and he got to see him.

 It was supposed to be a surprise for us that he was coming home from Iraq for some R&R, but I wanted to surprise him by having you come to honor him. I couldn’t get in touch with any of you or make any definite plans until we knew he was stateside and had plane tickets to come here. By the time I found out for sure and was able to call, it was already December 21^st, five days until the event. When I called, I had said that since it was only 5 days away and Christmas weekend, if you could not do it, I would completely understand. You told me, “Don’t worry about it, we will make it happen” and that you did.

  I want to say that you are some of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. Everyone in the Cavalry that came out was so nice. That feeling you get when you hear and feel the rumble of all the motorcycles coming is like nothing else. It’s so exciting. But more than anything, just the fact that you take time away from your family and obligations of life to do this, is the most wonderful thing. We send these boys away as babies, right out of high school and they come back as Men. We never know completely what they witness and have to go through while they are serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. When they come home, they should be honored.

 Again, thank you for all you do, not just for Thomas, but for all the families you do this for. The world needs more people like you!! I feel blessed just to have met you. God will reward you for your kindness and dedication to what you do!!
