5/29/10 – Danbury’s Project Patriotism

Here is a link to the pictures taken by the Brazosport Facts, May 29 at the ceremony dedicating flags to our soldiers and first responders.

For those who don’t know about “Project Patriotism” it is where the city of Danbury flies flags 365 days a year to honor those who protect our freedoms.  The city of Brazoria was the first in our county (and maybe the first in our country) to do this, and I’m proud that Danbury is the second city to honor our heroes in this manner.

I want to thank all who helped in any way in getting this accomplished and especially the Brazoria County Cavalry for providing the manpower to put the flags up.

Mayor, City of Danbury
