Melvin Brown – 9/5/09
Just a short note to say hi and to express our appreciation to the Brazoria County Cavalry for the wonderful time we had at our recent family reunion. All that you did to honor my brother Melvin was absolutely overwhelming. As a minister and pastor, I understand to some degree what goes on behind the scenes to pull off an event like this. We have had a lot of family reunions in the past, but this one excels them all. We are continuing to talk and relive so many of the parts of the program that ya’ll put together. I hope that your entire group understands that this is more than just ‘an honoring and recognition’ event. This is a wonderful ‘ministry’ opportunity that brings healing of the body and soul not only to the recipient, but also to family members and friends as well. As we say here in Louisiana, “ya’ll did good!!!” Please pass on to the other members of the Brazoria County Cavalry our thanks and appreciation for all that took place this past Saturday, (September 5) at the Freeport Community House.
Keep up the good work and ministry.
Rev. Tommy Brown
