June Sanders – 6/27/09

The family of June Sanders received a wonderful gift from the Brazoria County Cavalry on June 27th 2009.  The Brazoria County Cavalry did my mother the great honor of escorting her to her final resting place.  When my husband (A MARINE) suggested this honor for my mother who served this country in the Air Force for many years, I wasn’t sure what to expect.  He gave me the number to the Brazoria County Calvary  and I was amazed and comforted by their willingness to honor my mother.  In life, my mother was a woman of virtue and kindness.  She was undoubtedly the most unselfish woman I have ever known.  She instilled in each of her children the need to give freely and joyfully.  Although I can never repay the fine men and women from the Brazoria County Cavalry for doing such a fantastic and honorable service to a woman who served this country proudly, we, as a family, will be forever grateful for your kindness and generosity.  I found great comfort in the escort by fellow heroes.  Your group of volunteers represents all that is good about this country and the men and women that fight for our freedom every day.

Sincerely,

The family of June Sanders
