Craig Anderson 03/15/08

When my son Craig came home for his R&R from Iraq I contacted y’all and it was amazing which just does not describe it to this day! Craig had already been home for a few days and you really pulled off a ‘surprise’ welcome home celebration for him. He could not believe it was for him and I noticed immediately he could not quit smiling. Craig is the first one to say he doesn’t deserve that kind of attention but that day will stay with him and be a part of him forever. It also makes being gone so long now a little easeier and I have you all to thank for that. I was amazed at all the members that came out to say hello and welcome just one soldier-my son. We are truly blessed in this county as there is no other like this and with all you are doing for all the soldiers that do come home. It is something for everyone to see when the bikes, flags, family, friends, firetrucks, etc. come into town!!! I just cannot say Thank YOU enough, those words do not seem like much compared to what you all did for Craig! We have the pictures of that day and I am making a small photo album to send to him so he will be able to share with his battle buddies and bring a little bit of ‘home’ to him too. Just knowing how much you all care always brings tears. I look forward to his Homecoming in 2009. Thank you and God Bless each and everyone of YOU!
