Just wanted to let you know what a first class operation you have. I am with the limbs of love organization and we had the Wounded Warriors group coming in from San Antonio to go skydiving. Well the groups that we had originally backed out on us 2 days before the jump and we didn’t know what we were going to do. Then we got in contact with the Brazoria County Cavalry and they were nothing but AWESOME!!!! During the morning of the ride we had over 50 bikes and 5-6 support vehicles and not to mention the Brazoria Constable escorting us through traffic. It was a sight to see with all those flags and cycles and they even did the opening prayer which was outstanding. This group ROCKS and the love in which they showed our Veterans were amazing. I just wanted to say thank you for all of your hard work.
Sincerely,
Mike Schlotzhauer

This is my letter of thanks to the Brazoria County Cavalry. So it was so amazing to have you all there for our wedding. It was so great to know that there are people other than family out there that support the soldiers and their families. It was like having a much bigger family. I know a lot of you and I have rode with a lot of you and the kindness that is put out by each one of you is so awesome. Just so you all know Mellisa and Jaydin have moved up to VA with me so it is really nice to have them here. Well thanks again and we will keep in touch with you in our travels.

I attended my first escort today and wanted to thank you for the opportunity to participate in, what I believe, is one of the finest things I have ever had the honor of participating in. You all are doing a wonderful thing…and I thank you. I have submitted my request to become a member and will pass all information on to everyone I know!

I would like to thank everyone who helped me out on Saturday. I think everything went great. It was an awesome and emotional event. It was an emotional weekend from the get go. I know there have been a lot of emotional rides in the past and even difficult ones. But doing one for multiple close family members who one has been gone for a long time, and one that is leaving soon was more difficult than I could ever imagine. I also had many family members there who had never experienced what we do. My grandfather was in tears telling me that he prayed for TJ every night for his safety and now he has to do it all over again for Daniel. This is probably why I forgot a few things. I would like to also thank Tracy, Roddy, Danny, John, Jackie, Dana for believing in me. I love being a member of this fine organization, and proud to represent it. I also want to thank Edmund Baker for coming and blessing us with his god given gift of music, it was excellent, could not have asked for anything better. I am looking forward to hearing more music from him in the future. Having all my brothers in the same place, and finally realizing that we each support each other 100% and are there if needed was an awesome and overwhelming felling. Thanks again for all the support. See you on the next one.

I told you that I was going to send a “Thank You” letter back in March… but every time I sat down to write it, I became so overwhelmed that I couldn’t put into words what I was feeling. I am sure that I still can’t, but I will try. Thank you is not enough for what you did for my sons on March 21st. The day was an emotional day to begin with when T.J (my third son) who had just returned from Iraq, got married. The wedding was beautiful and to see my four sons standing as men in the front of the church together made me, as a mom, so proud. The reception was going strong when the sirens and the roar of the bikes could be heard in the distance. T.J. and Daniel immediately knew who it was. As they have been involved in rides before, but each thought it was for the other as Daniel was leaving for Navy boot camp in 4 days. To their surprise, their oldest brother, J.D. was leading the pack. The presenters included family, old friends, and coaches from the boys past. The pride I was feeling seeing my oldest son honoring his two youngest brothers was totally overwhelming. I am so proud of my sons that serve, but just as much, I am proud of my oldest son, as he serves with one of the greatest organizations in Brazoria County. Thank you for allowing all of my boys to be honored, and to be emotional with each other. What you do means so much to the soldiers and their families. Words can’t describe. I have been familiar with the Cavalry for some time now, but the comments from my new daughter-in-law’s family said it all…. this was one wedding that people won’t soon forget! Thank you for making their wedding unforgettable! Please know that your service won’t soon be forgotten and know that I am honored to join you, honoring these men and women who sacrifice for our freedoms.
