Thank you Brazoria County Cavalry!
Now more than ever, it is so easy to get caught up in our own day to day problems; money, work, health, etc… I had the rare opportunity to experience a priceless gift given by the Brazoria County Cavalry when my son-in-law Army Sgt. Jordan Eddy recently returned home from Iraq. About 100 Cavalry members gave him a Hero’s welcome after a very hard 15 month tour in Iraq. When Jordan got tired and scared I promised him that people he didn’t even know were praying for him and for all of our soldiers. The Brazoria County Cavalry proved me right when each and every member took time out of their lives to shake his hand, hug his neck and pat him on the back. Although they gave him gifts and mementos to commemorate their personal appreciation of his service to our great county the real gift was the kind words and prayers they shared with him. To say THANK YOU is just not enough for what you did for Jordan. We should all take the time to support our troops. They are still fighting hard and furious for our precious freedom. Thank You Brazoria County Cavalry; you will never know how you touched our lives!

I just wanted to thank you all for a outstanding day. I loved talking to everyone and hearing how much you all appreciate what I do. My friend Mark and I were definitely surprised and couldn’t believe how nice and caring you all were towards us. I am proud to say that I have the greatest family in the world, and I can’t wait to see everyone again. Once again I just want to say thank you for accepting me into your family, and I will definitely keep you updated on how I am doing and send you all some pictures of me in my hat soon. Thanks again and god bless you all

To the Wonderful Members of BCC,
I am writing this to thank you so much for your support for Navy E2 Mike Madden, Corpsman. By the support that was shown to him he now realizes that there are many reasons to try and stay safe while he is off in Afghanistan. There was such a nice turn out at the ride for Mike, it really left him in awe. He just couldn’t believe that so many people cared. Thank you for helping to show this young man that people care about him and what he is doing. Mike volunteered to go to Afghanistan and didn’t really care if he came back or not, but now he does care.
This meant so much to me, I needed to show Mike that there are people that care. This young man really needed this.

Brazoria County Cavalry,
Thank you for joining us as we honored our Wounded Warriors last Saturday—the event would not have been the same without you there. I will never forget the sound of your crew coming down the road, and the sight of the American flags waving in the wind, as you escorted these heroes who gave their limbs protecting our freedom.
The fact that your guys dropped everything at the last minute and made the escort possible means the world to all of us here at the Amputee and Prosthetic Center, as the event would not have been the same without you there.
Thank you again; our hats go off to all who participated and helped us with this huge success!

It was a wonderful showing of support for the troops, all of whom had lost a limb in service to our country. It was a tremendous tribute to them. I so appreciate you all for coming out.
