Cavalry,
This is Zachary Paul. The Brazoria County Calvary did a ride for my Uncle, Wallace Kelly, and me back in February. I just wanted to thank you all for that experience. I had always had the support of my family and close friends, but that day made all of the people that I am serving seem tangible. I graduated boot camp on May 1. I am now in Charleston, South Carolina and loving every minute of it! I really appreciate everything that ya’ll did for both me and my Uncle Wallace though. As soon as I get my camera and my BCC cap sent to me, I will send ya’ll a picture (I believe that was one of the stipulations of receiving the cap) of me at my command with my cap on. I will probably throw in some extra pics of more stuff too, but that is beside the point. At any rate, thank you ALL, and if ANY of you ever need anything that you even remotely think I can help you with, just e-mail me or give me a call at 254-734-5393.
Have a Fine Navy Day!
Zachary Paul

Brazoria County Cavalry;
I’d like to extend our deepest appreciation for that very moving send off for our son Mark Vaughn last night! He was very touched by the display of love, respect and support from everyone who participated. He was especially touched by the fact that he didn’t know most of them, but yet they were there for him even though they didn’t know him either. What a true gift of agape love that was, and what a treasure it was to witness it being given as well as received. Mark and our family look forward to getting to see you all once again when he returns home in February 2010.
With much love and appreciation from a very proud Mom and Dad,
Arnold & Frances Vaughn

I just wanted to tell every one of the members of the Brazoria County Cavalry that came to my house to honor my son and my father in law on Saturday that I can not put in words how beautiful it was. It was pouring down rain, not sprinkling, pouring and you came anyway. It means so much. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Brazoria County Cavalry,
I had the privilege to ride with the Cavalry yesterday and what an awesome experience and positive outreach to the community. What your organization represents is beyond words it is ACTION in the right direction. I wanted to personally thank each of you for giving back to those that give for us.
I will always be honored to ride with you.

Hello this is SGT. Cameron Mulka,
I want to thank you for your show of support for me on the 19th of April. Thanks from the bottom of my heart. The manner in which you guys show support is breathtaking. I have only heard of stuff like that for fallen soldiers not for just saying thank you. It really touched me down to my vary soul to see how much all of you actually cared and showed your gratitude. It was or is never about the stuff although they were very nice; the most amazing part is to see all you wonderful people showing your support. To come out and do something like that is amazing and it’s a shame that people don’t see more of that on the news instead of all the negative stuff. Sometimes you find yourself wondering does anyone care anymore about what we are doing is it all for nothing??? Then it is something like that, that makes you understand and see that there are people out there that care and show it. All of you came out to thank me for my service, but it is me and my men that should thank you…it is people like you that make it worthwhile being over there suffering through the hardships. I want to THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for what you all did, no words can explain or express what you guys did for me. Once again thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!!!
