I just wanted to thank you for the amazing welcome home you gave me. It is wonderful to know I am supported by you and the other agencies, departments, and citizens that came to see me on my return home. The honor was all ours, the Brazoria County Cavalry arrival was a total surprise to Toby. The cavalry did an awesome job with their unique arrival and an outstanding job with the presentation. Words cannot express our gratitude and appreciation for our ceremony. Elder was shocked to see everyone, including Sheriff Wagner and the BCSO family. I was moved to tears to see a hundred strangers pull up and show appreciation for my husband. When I coordinated with you, I had NO idea how big and awesome it would be!
My husband mentioned in the past that he felt like the American public was pulling back on their support and patriotism. We have crossed paths with many unsupportive people over the years, but BCC, you are a breath of fresh air! It is awesome to know that you make it a point to honor our heroes- military and first responders. We are so glad to know and support you. Keep up the good work. May God continue to bless you and all you do. We love Brazoria County and we love BCC!

Words alone cannot express our gratitude, but we would like to thank the Brazoria County Cavalry for taking the time to come to our home and honor Lance Cpl. Dean Mathews.
