Thank you all so much for showing up on my behalf. I keep you guys in my prayers and thoughts always. You’ll never know how much that meant to me. Thank you all so very much.

 Cynthia

Thank You!

Thank you so much for the acknowledgment… I was feeling down about a few things and just couldn’t get my head out of the fog… the Brazoria County Cavalry was just the pick me up I needed…

What ya’ll are doing is quite a blessing…Not only to me personally, knowing that it takes a lot of time for you to do this, but seeing the diligence, dedication and devotion to keep it happening is what impacts me, as well as, I am sure, all of those that you escort…

Thanks again for allowing me the honor to be a part of what you do… acknowledging these soldiers is so important, as was what you did for me today…You have found a way to do more than just a pat on the back…you are making an investment and sewing into these peoples lives…these brief moments will have an everlasting impact …

Thanks again,
Tony Kahanek

To our extended family  the “Brazoria County Cavalry” my family and I would like to thank each and everyone of you for all that you do for our military and their families. Having you there with us to honor my husband before he left means so much to all of us. Thank-you, Thank-you for the bottom of my heart.  Hearing the “ROAR” of you coming down the street gave me goose bumps. I wish to let you know that we  “believe” in the power of prayer and having you all praying for Lindsay and all our military personnel is so special and greatly appreciated. Lindsay was truly surprised and very honored to be in such great and honorable company and I know his Dad was smiling down on all of you from heaven. It meant a great deal for Judy to have this send off for her son, especially since there was nothing like this for her husband Keith when he came home from Vietnam I wish to truly thank-you for giving her that. Thank-you also for selflessly giving up your time for my husband, and all our military men and women and their families that you touch. What you do is truly special. Thank-you for making this happen in such short notice and to everyone in the BCC thank-you again for sharing this day with us and making it a very memorable one for everyone there.

God Bless America, God Bless our Military men and women and God Bless you,

Laura Chapman

God Bless the Brazoria County Cavalry!! What a wonderful expression of love, support, and honor you gave Sgt. Chappy, Nov 27, 2009.

I was watching the Alabama football game when I heard the sound of Rolling Thunder!!! and then to see the detachment dismount in front of my neighbors home. It was very special to see you honor Sgt Chappy and his family for their service to our Great Country.

It has been a very special day for me to see brothers and sisters give up their time to show such respect and honor for our American Heroes.

Amazing Members of the Brazoria County Calvary,

Our family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts for making Doug’s surprise welcome home party on November 22, 2009, an event to remember!!  First of all, he had no idea about the party, but when he was driving into the neighborhood and saw all the American Flags and his welcome home sign, he was overwhelmed by all the support from family, friends and community.  BUT, when Doug and all of us heard the fire truck sirens and the motorcycles we were all overwhelmed with pride and true thanksgiving for those who serve our country.  The support you showed our sailor was truly amazing.  It’s people like you who give our military personnel hope and the support they deserve.  They know they are not forgotten and that we stand behind them 100%.  This is a lasting memory for all of us and one Doug treasures.  This was probably one of the best days of our life.  A lot of preparation went into this party and Doug knows we love him, but we wanted to show him how much we missed him and how dear he is to us and how proud we are of him.  You helped us accomplish this and more.

We also want to thank you for acknowledging our extended family members that are veterans.  That meant more to them than you will ever know.

You were just the blessing our entire family needed.  With the unexpected loss of our grandmother the day before the party our hearts were heavy and very sad.  We decided to go on with the party because that’s what she would have wanted.  Our family still kept the surprise a secret and everything went as planned.  Our grandmother was the biggest patriot and I know she beamed with pride having her grandson serve in the Navy.  You helped us get through the day-we had something very special to look forward to and that was you at the surprise welcome home party for AC3 Doug Wied.

Thanks again for everything.  God bless you and your families.
