I understand what you’re saying Susan, I have belonged to a lot of organizations most of them service organizations but this group takes volunteerism to a whole other level. I am proud to belong to the Cavalry and every time someone walks up and thanks me for what we do I realize all over again that it’s a GOD thing!!!

I just read my email concerning the wreaths that were being brought in for the Houston cemetery. I know it may sound a little morbid, but it made me feel so good inside to know that these soldiers were being acknowledged. Then I sat back and smiled and thought how good I feel inside every time we have a run for a soldier. I’m so proud to be part of such a wonderful group of individuals who give up a little bit of their time to honor the hero’s . I thank the Lord every day for each and every one of you. All this means a lot to Gary and I, and we are in such awe every time we put those magnets on the truck that say, BRAZORIA COUNTY CAVALRY, and put our vests on to take another ride. Talk about such pride. I have belonged to a lot of wonderful organizations in my life, from being on the board of Little League Baseball to the Chamber of Commerce, but I have never felt as good as I do when we board our truck with that wonderful flag flying behind us and heading to meet some of the greatest friends I know that we will ever come across. (ALL OF YOU) Thank you all for having the same goals as we do. You are all very special to us. I want to take this time to wish each and every one of you the Merriest Christmas and prosperous New Year. May we never lose sight of what we do and how it has affected so many. It never fails that every time we walk into a store or any place, that we hear the most wonderful things about the Cavalry. Talk about a good feeling. Until we meet again……

Brazoria County Cavalry;
My husband and I would like to take this time to express our heart felt appreciation for all the Godly love that was shown to our daughter who is a soldier in the army and our family. We were just over whelmed with all the support and love that was so freely given by the family of Brazoria County Cavalry; I say family because we now know that we have an extended family that will be there for us at any time of need. Words can never express the feelings that overtook our heart on that day, but just know that it was a day that our family will never forget. .Oh can’t forget about all the gifts that were presented to our daughter, it was just amazing how our community supports our soldiers. If there is anything we can do to help our new family, please do not hesitate to call upon us, we love you all and may God’s blessing continue to overtake you. Happy Holidays!
