4/24/10 – Robert Munson

I want to thank ya’ll so much for making my son, Robby Munsons homecoming even more special. Also thank you so much for honoring his wife Jenell right along with him. Ya’ll just don’t know how much it means for ya’ll to take time away from your lives to do this. I do not have the words to say how much it means. Thank you just does not seem to be enough for the awesome job you do of welcoming home our service people.

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!!

God will bless ya’ll,

Londa Henderson & Family

4/9/10 – Timothy Stallberg

Dear Brazoria County Cavalry:

Thank you all for the wonderful honor your group paid to our son, Timothy Paul Stallberg at El Toro on Friday evening, April 9th. You had a very good turnout. Paul was very surprised and very appreciative of your efforts. He is anxious to get to return in the near future so he can use his coupons for meals out AND the deep sea fishing trip…he LOVES to fish. I know due to prior scheduling the Cavalry had a somewhat tight schedule but you arrived in a most timely manner and paid tribute to Paul’s service to his country in a most honorable way. THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. God Bless each and every one of you.

Hello, I agree with Dixie. I have participated on these rides on two occasions, and I enjoyed it very much. The Cavalry does a wonderful thing for very deserving people. If the Alvin Volunteer Fire Department can help you in any way, Please do not hesitate to contact us.

It’s the very least that we can do for the men and women who are putting their lives on the line as well.

4/3/10 – Cale Reeves

Words can not express the heartfelt thanks we give to the Cavalry for the send-off you gave our son, Cale, before he deployed to Iraq. Your arrival with fire truck, sirens, and such a large turnout of members was fantastic. For that many people to volunteer their time on a holiday weekend for an event of this kind just warms a person’s heart. Cale was completely surprised when you arrived and even more surprised by the honor, words, and gifts he received.  Surprised as well, were his dad and his sister’s father-in-law, who were shown the same respect and honor for their Viet Nam service.  The presence of the Cavalry turned out to be the highlight of our party with everyone in attendance commenting on what a great service you guys and gals perform.  I speak for all our guests when I say we truly appreciate the Cavalry for what you do to honor our military!

God bless!
