moments we had! We really appreciate ya’ll coming out Saturday and we had a great time!

If I haven’t told you personally, thank you so much. Everything the Cavalry did for me during all this, there are no words to express my gratitude. I had no idea that when I joined the Cavalry I would get a whole new family. I thank God for your guys and your dedication. Even my mom, who hated that motorcycle and me on it, has a whole new outlook and has asked that I stay with you guys. Before that motorcycle was a sore subject. She now encourages me to ride.
I want each member to know how much I appreciate them. And hopefully soon enough when I figure out my life, I can help you all more and become even more active.

Yesterday I was in Lake Jackson visiting my dad, Jim Cummings, and he showed me his “medal” and photos on the web page. First, and foremost, thank you for recognizing him as in doing so, you really made a old man’s day. I think he is prouder of the medal you gave him (and promoting him to “commander”-he captained a ship as a Lt.!) than any medal he was presented in WWII!!
I ride with Christian Motorcyclists Association and the Patriot Guard in Montgomery County, TX but have never heard of the Cavalry. I am very impressed with what you do and what you have done! Is the Cavalry a national organization? Is there a Cavalry in Montgomery County and if so where can I find information? If not, are there additional counties being chartered? Thanks, guys for the amazing work you do, and for making my dad’s day!!

Everything was past fabulous for the ceremony. It totally took my breath away. The box for the flag was great. I turned around and gave it to his mother to display his American Flag and his step dad’s American Flag. I’m having a special box built for the Texas Flag and the cap and then will be giving it to his brother. Again I thank all of you for everything that you did.

I would like to tell the Brazoria County Cavalry a great big THANK YOU! Your efforts are so appreciated!!! We were overwhelmed with the love and support that your group showed to our son and the other veterans who were at our son’s welcome home event. You all do an AWESOME job of supporting our Military personnel. Some of you knew Joey, but those that didn’t know him previously treated him like a long lost friend! I can’t say enough good things about your group! Keep up the good work!!!
