I want to thank you and the Brazoria County Cavalry for presenting the Liverpool Police Department with the certificate of appreciation last Saturday. It is an honor and my pleasure to help you out with the escorts. 5/21/10 – Letters of War Show

To the Brazoria County Cavalry;

You would have been absolutely amazed at the presentation. I’ve been to a lot of professional shows of this type but they couldn’t top this. All those boys and girls of all ages were absolutely fantastic. It touched home to me in a lot of places. My family history started with the Revolution, CivilWar,WW1, WW2 ,Korea and Vietnam. The Cavalry displayed themselves as a professional group that we all have become. Thank you for having me as a part of it.

5/15/10 – Samantha Vasquez

I wanted to say a heartfelt "Thank You" to the members of the Cavalry. Everyone’s
co-operation with the planning of Samantha’s coming home was such a blessing.
Everyone's patience and understanding with everything that night, all the delays,
just shows how wonderful your organization really is. The Cavalry made a ride for
my son Joe a couple of years back and I knew then God existed in so many people who
didn't even know us to come out and honor my son. But this night topped all nights,
what you did for Samantha did not only touch my heart dearly but touched hers as well.
It is very hard to surprise her, but with your help she was very surprised and honored.
When she got to the fairgrounds and saw and heard the fire engines, the police cars, sirens
and motorcycles, she told her sister "Oh My God, they already have the police coming out here
so early, " She had no idea it was all for her, until her sister told her, "Samantha this
is foryou".  Her response was “No Way!”  The look on her face was so amazing and priceless.
Yourorganization has touched my family and children in ways that they all know that what they
chose to do in their careers, along with Samantha, was the right choice, especially with your
appreciation and support. Samantha says the Brazoria County Cavalry is her extended family now,
that you guys were "AWESOME" in her words. THANK YOU, once again, for the wonderful job you do
and for all of your support.
God Bless
Rose

5/15/10 – Keith Betancourt

The thanks belong to God Almighty for allowing you godly people to flow in unity in that which you have put both your hands and mind into.  It was truly a blessing.  I can say that from the bottom of my heart and speak in behalf of my family members. Don’t be surprised if you hear from them as well.

Thank you for your professionalism in all you did to make it happen.  You did not slack or slumber in making it possible.  First because of your dream to honor our fighting soldiers, those that made it home and for those that didn’t.  What a blessing!

To all the veteran members that were present and for those that desired to be there but couldn’t I commend you on the support we felt and know will stay with us a lifetime.

I apologize for not sending my regards sooner.  My thoughts and prayers are with you guys and plan on contacting you again soon.

I hope all is as fulfilling for your lives as you made it for my dad, my brother, and my son on that day.  The memory will forever live in our hearts.

 Love and happiness always!

Sincerely,

Delia Rodriguez

5/15/10 – Joshua Taylor

On Saturday May 15th 2010 I had the pleasure of spending the day with my Grandson Josh Taylor for a “Calvary Sendoff”.  Having no clue as to what this was except a Celebration for his decision to join the Army.

We all see the news, read the papers, & hear of all the men who give up so much for us here in the States. But until you are on the receiving end of this you don’t really grasp it all .Nor did I have any idea that other people who don’t even know who you are will give up a lot of their free time on a rainy day to let a young man know that what he is doing is very important to them. Your group has become an important part of our family for many years to come. You turned a special Family day into one of the most important days of our lives. On behalf of the Zimmerles & the Taylors I truly Thank you all so very much for what you do for all of us. May God bless you all. Please share this in your Thank You letters.
