Erica & Anthony Taylor Christmas Wish

Brazoria County Cavalry,

Tracy thank you so much for everything you have done. We were truly blessed the other day with amazing gifts and people. I think we are all still in shock that this all happened. It’s not a coincidence that this all happened. You and very single person are a blessing. Anthony and Addison have not stopped talking about what a great time they had! Thank you for all you do, not just for me but for your community!!

Poteet Family at Veterans Day Parade

First and foremost, I want to thank Tracy Read, for personally invited our family to the Veterans Day Parade. It was an honor to be a part of that. My heart swells with pride knowing there are so many people in our community that support our Veterans past, present and future. I also want to thank the rest of the Cavalry for having such an awesome group of people that volunteer their time to honor these amazing families. Also thank you to the construction company that made a donation to our family, so that we can have an awesome Christmas this year. Again thank you all!!!

Wreaths Across America

I am so proud to have the Brazoria County Cavalry attend our Wreaths Across America Ceremony.  I know the Cavalry schedule was very full Saturday, but that did not stop you from making us one of your stops.  I knew they would be leaving soon after the program so I made my way to them immediately to let each one know how much we appreciate what the Brazoria County Cavalry does!  Not just Saturday, but all year long!

Thank you and God Bless you,
Rick and Bette Perry

Words from David Garretts Family

Brazoria County Cavalry

Wanted to thank the Brazoria  County Cavalry for the wonderful service they gave in honoring my husband, Marine David Garrett. From the National Anthem, to the closing prayer we were amazed at the respect and honor that was shown, not only to my husband, but to all service Veterans that were present that day. When we began to sing,my husband began to cry. I dont think there was a dry eye in the building. the gifts they gave, the way they went out of their way to make it happen was above and beyond the call of duty. We were supposed to have it on the 8th, David ended up in the hospital in Houston, so they set it up for the 16th! They said they wanted to make it happen. Thank you for your blessings to us and for not stopping at this point, but also helping us to get out tranmission fixed in a timely manor with a discount, so we would have it to go back to houston this coming Thursday. May God bless you and continue to make a way to honor other Vets.

With all our hearts
David andPenny Garrett

The family and friends of David Garrett wish to extend our thanks and deepest gratatude to all the members of the Brazoria County Cavalry. The tribute to David on Sunday was an awsome experience for all. Hearts were touched.  Thank you All so much ,God Bless You

Thank you about Vietnam Wall Sue Richardson

On Saturday, upon arriving in Manvel, with my elderly Mother, we were advised that the Traveling Vietnam Memorial had only met up at the Ford Dealership and had left for another location to be set up.  My Mother was heartbroken, thinking she would never get to see the “Wall”.  I was not going to give up, after driving all the way from Austin.  Upon texting you, I was very happy that you responded so quickly, and we were on our way to Lake Jackson – McLean Park.

Mom has never remarried and has to this day, remained my Father’s widow.  Even though I have seen the original Wall in Washington, DC a few times and the traveling Wall a few times, my Mother has never seen it and I knew taking her to DC was out of the question.
I thank you helping us out that day.
God Bless you all!!
Sue Richardson
