Leroy and I have run out of ways to say thank you for the wonderful day yesterday. It truly was a very good one and we were exhausted but, it was a very good tired. We are so grateful for the help all the fellows extended to us so generously. All we can say is THANK YOU.

On behalf of the Brazosport Rotary, I want to thank you for attending our veterans day lunch. I regret that I was out of town on business but I have been assured that the Cavalry was taken care of. Take care and I will see you when I get to go on the next ride.

I just wanted to share with you an e-mail I received from a teacher at the school. I was really touched. Anice said we were the talk of the school. They were so touched because we honored a vet who died 2 days before the program. His grandkids, who attend school there, were so upset because he wasn’t able to come. We called them up front along with their mother, and presented them with a cap and medallion. We had a moment of silence in respect for him. You never realize what you do that captures so much attention.

WOW! That pretty much sums it up. The organization and honor was awesome and by far exceeded anything we expected. I’m sure that was one time Jerry didn’t mind riding behind. We also have some great pictures. Thanks.

Thank you so much for coming out to send off my sons. It meant the world to them and our family. As soon as I get the pictures downloaded I’ll send them.
