I wanted to thank you and the rest of your members that made my son’s coming home event a day to remember. I was at my wits end when he was late and no contact could be made with him. If it wasn’t for you hanging in there and taking extra time to see if he would make it, we would have not been able make it happen. I hope you can pass this along to every member when I say you people are awesome and are a great group of ladies and gentlemen. May god bless each one of you and please keep up the wonderful work each one of you do. Thank you again for making my son’s coming home great.
Sincerely

Leroy has asked me to relay his thanks for asking him to participate in this program. He enjoyed every minute and said it was a very special day. Yes, he does tend to get emotional, when he saw that huge flag it just sort of hit him. It reminds him of buddies still in those cemeteries in Belgium and Omaha Beach.
The Cavalry is very special to us and it is awesome what they do. We were so impressed by all the kind attentions shown us by church members. We won’t forget the day.

Thank you for speaking at the Celebration. Your words added so much to the spirit of the meeting. Thank you so much for the sacrifices you made to be there. I know the Lord strengthens and loves us through those that serve us, and I know you are one of his angels that helped to make the celebration a tool to touch our community and spread the love of our country and the gospel of Jesus Christ. My prayers are with you and your family. I know that Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers; you were an answer to my prayers. Thank you for the great sacrifice you made to be at the Patriotic Celebration, and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ

What a wonderful day this was! We thank God for giving us the opportunity to honor our men and women from the 272nd Engineer Unit from Angleton, Texas and to all our men and women who have served our great nation. We had present over 100 men and women from this unit. We want to extend a very special thank you to the Brazoria County Cavalry for escorting this unit to the Lake Jackson Civic Center. Their burden and support for our military men and women has been outstanding and has been a great blessing to this county. We were so honored to have over 12 of our area politicians, officials and judges join us. A few of the highlights were as follows, and all to whom we say a huge thank you for helping to make this event so special: Saxophonist & Cavalry Member Edmond Baker Jr. who played the National Anthem; WWII Veteran, Purple Heart Recipient & Cavalry Member, Army Sgt Leroy Walker who lead us emotionally in the Pledge of Allegiance and Brazoria County Cavalry Committee Member Tracy Read who lead us in a beautiful moving prayer.
This day would not have been possible without the help from all of the fine men and women that joined us and labored with us today. We from The Rock Church pray abundant blessings on you all for giving of yourselves so unselfishly and sacrificially In Jesus Name. Thank you for all that you do.

I was on the ride Saturday morning and loved every minute of it. I just want to tell you that GOD will bless each and everyone that can be apart in welcoming home those who lay down their lives for us. I thank you for letting me be a part of this group because there are a lot of others that did not get a thank you or a hug for what they did and it is sad. God Bless you all and I hope to ride again soon.
