9/5/2011 – Frank Leroy

First of all, I would like to thank you for coming to my Uncle Leroy’s funeral. The Brazoria County Cavalry meant so much to him. One day we will get together and I will be able to tell you the stories that he told me on those long milk truck rides.  Gen. Patton would not have done so good if it wasn’t for the outstanding job that Uncle Leroy did protecting Gen. Patton’s right flank.

You guys made an impressive showing at the funeral this past
Monday for Mr. Walker, our state commander was blown away with the whole event.
He was really impressed with you honoring the Vietnam vet that was present he
had not experience anything like that. The vet and his wife were beyond
surprised and now are considering buying a motorcycle; I told them a car for
the mean time would be good enough.

7/17/2011 – Thank You!

I’ve been living in Brazoria County for most of my life. At Christmas time I came down and was presented the Texas flag as a token of appreciation for my service to the country.  I’m fixing to come on deployment in September, and I was hoping I could ride with y’all one time before I left.   I’ll be gone for 12 to 13 months, but, I’ll be arriving in Danbury, TX where my family and friends stay at around the 2nd, if all goes well.

Thank y’all for everything y’all do and I hope to see y’all when I come home.

I also surprised my DAD with ya’ll coming he has never been at something like that before. He was honored to be called up there with his Grandson.

6/18/2011 – Rebecca Gayle Jones

Thank you all for the wonderful send off for Rebecca. She was a little nervous about leaving for boot camp, and your surprise visit made her excited to start serving her country. It was so nice to see the men and women who were veterans, community leaders, and friends take the time to help encourage a young person just joining the Navy. My family thanks everyone who came from the bottom of our heart and hope to go with you on future missions. May God continue to bless your ministry.

Love,

The Jones’s
