I would like to take the time to say a very special “THANK YOU” to all of the Brazoria County Cavalry members for going above and beyond to make this year’s anniversary something that I will always treasure and remember forever. I was truly very humbled by being chosen as one of the “Hero’s” that was honored this year. I have been privileged to be a part of the Cavalry since very shortly after it was formed and have seen firsthand how it can and does make a difference in people’s lives. I now have an understanding of how individuals feel when we take the time to honor them. Again there are not words enough to express the emotions that were felt when I was called to the stage last Saturday. Again, a very heartfelt Thank You to each and every one of you, and may God Bless.

Thanks for yesterday it was a great time I had no clue until you said he grew up in Clute and I thought no way my wife ask if I saw my picture on the screen which I did not, too many tears. It was an honor sitting next to Fred and Gary thanks again and I will be back.

To my extended Cavalry Family,
I do want to thank you all for the wonderful presentation that was done for my son. It was just amazing, how much love was given to us by the BCC. We were so pleased with everything. My son said it was a day he will never forget. My family will be attending your Four Year Cavalry Anniversary. We want to go and show our support to you all in appreciation to what was done for my son. There is not enough words can explain how much I thank The Brazoria County Cavalry for honoring my son as an American Hero. I also told my son that his Journey had just begun. I read him a poem that day. I would love to read it to everyone at your anniversary. If I can’t that is fine. I understand. I thank you all for giving my son the hope. I know that God is protecting him and that one day he will be doing what you all are doing, honoring other soldiers one day just like he was honored. Keep up the awesome work you all do. God has great blessings for the Brazoria County Cavalry for the work you do for the soldiers and their families. You give us more HOPE and PEACE.

I’d like to thank the Brazoria County Cavalry for honoring my son who just made it home from a 8 month tour in Afghanistan. We enjoyed everything you did for him. I’d also like to thank the Wild Peach and Brazoria volunteer Fire Dept for coming out. My son was in Awe of the whole thing, he was very appetitive of all these folks for taking time out of their weekend to honor him. I can’t think of one thing to make what y’all do better.
