I want to thank you and the Cavalry – my extended family – for the great send off that y’all did for my grandson, Andrew Kanter. He left the day after the ride for boot camp and it was a great way to tell him that we were all behind him. I also want to thank you for recognizing my Blue Knight brothers that attended as well as all military who had never been honored. Two of those that came up to be honored for the first time were my sons-in-law. I cannot express in words how appreciative I am for all the Cavalry does for our military and first responders. It is a great sacrifice of your time and each of you should be very proud. I will be looking forward to Andrew’s return and his honor as a veteran. Thanks to each of you once again.

Dear BCC,
Corey and I would like to thank all BCC members for coming out and giving Andrew an awesome send off! We could not believe the number of people who took time out of their busy days to show their support. Andrew was really surprised! Gary Oltz did a great job on the presentation. Andrew made the comment that he could not believe how many people out there really cared. Thank you to everyone for showing him how much you all care and for making his day brighter. He had a great party and a great send off thanks to BCC!!

A famous peace activist once said, “Wisdom is knowing what to do next; virtue is doing it.” You are obviously both wise and virtuous. Please accept our sincere thanks for having the foresight to organize the Brazoria County Cavalry and the dedication to see it grow and touch so many lives. We also want to recognize and thank the Cavalry members for volunteering their time, week after week. You are the salt of the earth and your generosity has benefited so many. It is different being on the receiving end; very humbling! The send-off for our grandson Taylor was ‘over-the-top’, thanks to the Cavalry. Plus recognizing Fred at the Cavalry’s 4th anniversary ceremony was an honor for the entire family. Words cannot describe our gratitude! If the Cavalry ever wants/needs anything from our family, you know we are a phone call away.
God bless you and God bless America!

I wrote a thank you on Facebook the day after I was honored by you and the Cavalry as Law Enforcement Officer of the Year and I apologize for not thinking of the website. I remember how elated I was to receive such an honor. I believe it means more to me than anything I have ever received. What made it so special was that I felt the love from my “Cavalry Family” in the room that day. Not only were they honoring me for my service but also for who I am. I will never forget that day as long as I live and you can rest assured that each of you will be in my thoughts and prayers each day.
