Words from Barnes Family

Brazoria County Cavalry
My family and I are still basking in the glow here of the awesome Honor Event for Bob on June 20, 2015. Smiling face with smiling eyes   They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and that is so very true b/c there are no words that would even begin to explain how powerful the Honor Event was……………for ALL of us, and especially for Our Hero, Bob Barnes!!

Brazoria County Cavalry are THE MOST professional group, & your presentation is such a testimony to our great country and the sacrifice & service of so very, very many service men and women!!!
I thank you with all my heart and soul, and cheer you on for all of your good works!!

Words from A.C. Gamino Memorial Day

Tracy, It is always an Honor to have you all attend our Memorial Service at Restwood. The Great Deeds that you all do does not go unrecognized. Your Organization has given so much to our Military Men & Women. You have recognized and healed the wounds of many a Patriot and what your organization brings to those who have served, those that are serving, and those that are being deployed is just a selfless and rewarding act in itself. It is not a wonder that you all are in demand and we Salute You and all Your Staff for the wonderful work you continue to do !

God Bless

Tracy,
I am very impressed that you started this thing to teach your son the value of honoring those who serve. In any capacity. I sincerely believe that is a lost and severely neglected value. People in service to their brother man are often neglected, taken for granted, even looked down upon, and worst of all; even forgotten about entirely.  I saw some of what you have done. I would like to hear more and see where I might fit to help where I can.
It’s people like you. When you find them that remind us why we do what we do or in my case did. Thank you for not being one who forgets. And even more than that. Being someone who actively shows that you remember and lead by example.
Thank you also for your service. We appreciate the service you provide in protecting us here at home.

Respectfully,

Kevin C. Jeffery SSG. Ranger

Words from Becky Wilson

My family and I cannot thank the Brazoria County Cavalry enough for the wonderful tribute that was given to our hero, husband, father and friend.  We were overwhelmed with emotion with the show of support and tribute that was given to him by the Cavalry members.  The end of his service was exactly what he wanted. The “Battle Hymn of the Repubic” playing as he was being lead out of the church.  However, never in his wildest dreams did he expect to be escorted by the wonderful group of supporters that came.  My breath was taken away when I saw them lined up at attention down the steps and around the hearse. It was a humbling sight to see.

The escort through town with the motorcycles and flags flying, passing by his office for the last time was exactly what I wanted for him.  I have never ever seen in the many processions that I have been in, the traffic come to a complete stand still and people standing outside of businesses and on the side of the road watching him pass.  People knew on that day that a hometown hero had come through town that day.

Thank you, Tracy for working on the advance preparations. Please extend our family’s deep appreciation to all of the Cavalry Members who came by for visitation and who participated in Fred’s services.

We miss him. It is hard to believe that it has been two weeks already.  A donation through Baker Funeral Home is coming your way soon along with one for the Brazoria County Honor Guard.  Let me know when you receive it, please.  I hope that your brother is doing better since the last time we talked.

Sincerely,

Becky Wilson

Brazoria County Cavalry,
I and on behalf  of my family want to thank you so much. It was all short notice and a lot of confusion but yet you all pulled through. We were pleased and very grateful for your assistance with our father.
