Thank you Cavalry, for recognizing our American Hero, Corey James and his wife, JoReed. You put on a fantastic ceremony that was touching and personal. We absolutely loved it and the folks presenting were so sincere and caring. In addition, the recognition of the soldiers who served in years past was a beautiful part of the ceremony. My brother-in-law, Lewis Dumas, is still talking about it. It was certainly a surprise for Corey and Jo.
What a wonderful organization. We can really tell what a wonderful group of folks the Cavalry is and how much you give to the soldiers and their family, as well as, to the community you live. Words cannot thank you enough!

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
These are the only words that the Damian Family would like to express to you for honoring our grandson, BJ Damian, Saturday, June 2, 2012. BJ was very surprised. He did not know what was going on. We had approximately about 100 people, friends & relatives, who were very impressed with the presentation by the Cavalry members and especially for honoring the other veterans that were in attendance. May God continue blessing you and the Cavalry with such great work of welcoming our heroes.
Thank you once again,
Jesse & Josie Damian & family

I would like to thank the Cavalry for coming out on Saturday for me. The shock was on Tammy, she had no idea, but me, I was kind of suspicious but you still got me. I know the Cavalry will not let anyone down. Never have and I truly believe they never will. Wish we could still be involved like we were. The passions the FD and the Cavalry have are the same, we leave no brothers behind. WE THANK THE COMMITTEE AS WELL, YOU KNOW WHY. You know the doctors told me I would never be a firefighter again. I truly don’t think that is true. We will both return one day to both. It might take time but we both feel it’s a calling we have in our blood. Again thanks to all we truly love and miss ya’ll.

These letters of recognition are really wonderful. As a Military retiree I want to do all I can to help in any way. These people are all volunteers as I was in the Past. We have a great country that is worth serving for as it was in the past. To recognize all American Heroes as we do has improved the lives of many past Veterans and boosts the Morale of our young American Heroes of today. I’ve been in contact with many of our Heroes in my travels. They have heard about us and wished they were greeted or sent off by people like us. Support the Cavalry as much as you can. We do a great service to the Community.

Thank you so much for helping to organize last evening’s honoring of our daughter Margie. It meant a lot to her, and us, to see the community support that she has for serving her country, and it also helped us to let her know how proud her family was of her.
The Cavalry should be very proud of the role you play in lifting up those who serve our country, whether in the military or the local community. Many communities or areas of the country are not so blessed with such a group that shows its patriotism through service of its own. We commend all of you for your efforts to make sure that those serving our country know of our community’s support.
Thank you again for your efforts on Margie’s and our behalf.
