I just want to say many thanks for the homecoming. The overwelming joy I felt is very difficult to put into words. My family and I are very grateful for the service and prayers the Cavalry provides.

We were all very happy with the display and the number of people that attended on Saturday. The only thing that could have been better would have been for the other Troopers in the area to be able to attend. We are in your debt for the proud service y”all did for Marc, he was surprised beyond imagination.
Again, thanks for the excellent turnout on Saturday. Any time we can help and it doesn’t take our guys too far away from our response area we’ll do what we can.
Best Regards and Good Luck from an admirer of the Brazoria County Calvary,

My wife and I want to express our sincere gratitude for not only your willingness to participate in welcoming our son Gregory home from his one year of service in Iraq, but also the enormous outreach to our county heros each member of the Cavalry participates in. The Cavalry’s efforts certainly bring neighbors together for those who celebrate and those who grieve. Please continue your important outreach as my family and I pray for each of you. A very grateful family,

I just wanted to stop by and thank you so much for showing up for the Blood Drive on Saturday. Every time I hear them motorcycles that just makes my heart skip a beat even though I knew you guys were coming it still gets to me and always will. Please let all of your guys and gals know that I really appreciate them coming out and supporting the troops. As soon as I find out our final total of units from Fort Hood I will let you know. Have a great day and God Bless our Brazoria County Cavalry.

I can’t thank you enough for all of your support. Having that ride for me was amazing and like I said I can’t thank you enough.
Chance Elliott
Dear All,
You all escorted my son, Chance Elliott (Army) on August 17th, after returning from service in Afghanistan. It was on a ‘very’ rainy day, but it did not put a damper on your spirit and support in showing our son appreciation for what he is doing for our country. I want each of you to know what the service you do for our community means to a family, to a mom and more so to the honoree. It is a fabulous sacrifice on your part and if you EVER wonder how it touches others just look at the tear rolling down that soldiers face. Especially when it comes from someone making a sacrifice every day of their lives serving others; whether it’s military, law enforcement or fire men. These are the people who expect it the least and least want the recognition. That tear rolling down their face IS your thank you! Like one of the ones I saw rolling down Chance’s face. But, from a mom’s point of view, I waited 15 months to ‘celebrate’ his return and you all certainly made it worth the wait; even with the tears from heaven falling (in celebration of his safe return)! God bless each and every one of you for finding it in your hearts to give so much to others.
Sincerely, Karen Ashcraft for Chance Elliott
My family and I would greatly like to send all of you fine Gentlemen and Women our most heart felt Thanks for providing Chance the wonderful Parade and Tribute, which you provided on August 20th, 2008. It’s a wonderful feeling that the American people support and highly regard our Men and Women in the armed services, living here in California is a far cry from the warmth and caring of our more rural towns and communities because of the large amount of people here they just seem to go about there daily lives without a care as to who is supplying them with the freedoms they enjoy. Your organization has let me know that there are people out there who truly care and do not take for granted the freedoms we so much enjoy, as they say Freedom is not free and I and my family are very aware of this. Thank you again for your gratitude and support for all of the branches of servicemen and women.
Sincerely, Michael Elliott and Family
