Brandin Patton – 2/21/09

 Brazoria County Cavalry Members,

Everything went fantastic on Sat. Feb.21st. I like the Cavalry motto ‘Rain or Shine’. You all showed me the dedication of your committee members. The rain we had did not detour the rally in any way. This show of respect for my son, Brandin, was greatly felt. It is hard to put into words on how we felt. Above all, with the support shown, it made us proud to be AMERICANS .Even now, with the hard times people are going through; it is great to see people taking time to show their respect for our soldiers. My brothers & Uncle (Vietnam vets) were greatly surprised and appreciative w/their recognition. When the trumpet player performed, it left us with a great feeling of Patriotism to our great nation. Seeing all them motorcycles made me want to go buy one, (Wish I could afford one), maybe one of these days. Seeing a few of my friends in the crowd made me feel great. Now I consider all the Cavalry members our friends. Do you need to change anything or anything added to the format?? No!!! Everything was great. So, from the bottom of our hearts…. we send you a great THANK YOU !

From the SERBANTEZ family.

Tracy Turner – 2/15th

Dear BCC,

I just wanted to say thank you for the escort that you did for my husband Tracy Turner on Sunday February 15th.

I could not have asked for this last ride for Tracy to be any better than it was.

I don’t think that he would have ever guessed in a million years that his funeral would turn out the way it did. It was beautiful. I was also grateful that I could ride with the Cavalry with my husband one last time.  Hopefully in the future I will get to ride again with you under better circumstances. It would be an honor.

Have to get my own bike first though; Tracy’s is way too big for me!

 Thank you again,

Tammy Turner

Thank You!

Dear Cavalry,

When Ms. Mary Moreno gave me the Calvary’s phone number to call, I did not know what to expect. So When I called and we kept missing each other I didn’t think that I would get a hold of you. When you called me back and we were able to talk, and you said that you didn’t know how many people you would be able to get to do the ride. I was only expecting about 5 to 10 people but when I seen the whole bunch of you men and women and children that came to welcome home my son I was so much in tears. He had a rough welcome home from his wife but I thought I should step in and make up where she left off. This was the best welcome home that he could have ever had. We were all in tears. And he really didn’t expect it. Thank you so much for welcoming my son home even though you didn’t know him you treated him like family. In our book every Cavalry member will always be welcomed in our home. If there is anything that we can do for any one of you please let me know. I will be more than happy to help. Once again “Thank You From The Bottom Of Our Hearts”
