Words from Escort of Wounded Warriors Memorial Day

Brazoria County Cavalry,

Thank you!!! The escort with the Cavalry, Angleton PD, and the Fire Department…what a sight, amazing really. My heart swelled as I watched the escort bring the “boys” home, it was fantastic! Our warriors also were amazed at the escort and said it “doesn’t happen often”…. So again, thank you and salute to you as well.

I can only imagine what the Christian’s entrance into heaven is going to be like….maybe something like this…

Blessings,

Words from Veteran Roy Gibson 5-20-14

Brazoria County Cavalry
The honor bestowed on myself, my wife and my daughter was beyond anything any of us ever expected. We want to sincerely thank the Veterans, Firefighters, Emt’s and Law Enforcement members as well as the civilian members of the Cavalry for what you did for us and what you do for others.  Many times people forget to say thank you and tell you that what you do is appreciated.  It was a wonderful feeling to be thanked for my service by men who were the real hero’s. It was humbling and I will never forget it.  I was born and raised in Brazoria County, my wife and daughter was raised in Brazoria County. All of my family still lives there so our roots run deep.

We live in Missouri now but would like to know if we can join the Cavalry. Our home is here but our hearts is still there.  If it is possible, please let us know. We would like to be a part of the good things you are doing.

Thank you again,

God bless you all.

Tracy and Brazoria County Cavalry,

Here is a direct quote from one of the veterans:

“I am so glad that I was given the opportunity to join the VA Annual Fishing Tournament on the Gulf.  I have especially enjoyed and deeply appreciate the teamwork it took to put together a splendid entourage of motorcycle riders, and the incoming parade to honor female veterans. I have never been honored in such away. Thank you for your honor and I salute you!  Tears were wiped but in joy…”

I assure you that that quote is supported by all the veterans and staff that participated in this event.

Thank you from Donna, Kaitlyn  and Danielle.
