**NOTICE** You are invited to the Bay City Volunteer Fire Department annual open house on Tuesday, October 5th, at 7:00pm. This year's theme: "Smoke Alarms: A sound you can live with". There will be car fire demonstrations, displays, and fire extinguisher classes. Your previous donations have helped purchase many pieces of firefighting equipment, including Jaws of Life rescue equipment and a thermal imager which allows firefighters to see through smoke. All of the equipment will be on display. The Bay City Volunteer Fire Department currently has 35 members which can be activated with one phone call and be enroute to your location within minutes. The Bay City Volunteer Fire Department appreciates your donation and hopes to see you at the fire station on October 5th at 7:00pm. This will be a great opportunity for Matagorda County Cavalry to show our support for our firefighters. Please wear your Matagorda Co unty Cavalry logo proudly. NOTE: Matagorda County Cavalry members and others on motorcycles or vehicles.
