************PARADE IN SWEENY********** ***********HAS BEEN CANCELLED********** Due to street flooding around the town. The town of Sweeny wants everyone to be safe, so they have cancelled the parade only. They will still be having the Fireworks show around 9 pm at the Backyard Park. *********************************************************** Matagorda County Cavalry has been contacted to by the City of Sweeny to participate in the Annual Old Fasioned Independence Day Parade celebration. Brazoria County Cavalry & Matagorda County Cavalry will be leading the parade to honor all of our American Heroes. Sweeny is now the third city in Brazoria County willing to fly American Flags year round to show support for our American Heroes. This will be a great opportunity for the Matagorda County Cavalry and other Patriots to show our support for these American Heroes. Please wear your Matagorda County Cavalry logo proudly. NOTE: Matagorda County Cavalry members and others on motorcycles or vehicles. |
