****NOTICE**** Matagorda County Cavalry has been contacted to organize and assist in the funeral escort of Fallen American Hero Navy WW2 Veteran, Alva Springer. The funeral will be a White shirt/Black pants and Bolo for those that have them. This will be a great opportunity for the Matagorda County Cavalry and others to show our support for this Fallen American Hero and his family. Please wear your Brazoria County Cavalry logo proudly. Directions to Staging: From the intersection of Hwy 35 and Nichols St, turn right on Nichols. Continue on Nichols St. till you come to Carey Smith Blvd. Turn left on Carey Smith Blvd and continue to second church past the Bay City Tribune Newspaper. NOTE: Matagorda County Cavalry members and others on motorcycles or vehicles. |
