*NOTICE* Eta Mu Sorority and Van Vleck ISD are hosting a salute and send-off party for SGT Shelly Park at the First Baptist Church Gym. Matagorda County Cavalry has been asked to SURPRISE Shelly with our presence at the party. SGT Park will be deployed to Iraq for the 2nd time as a medic in the Texas National Guard. She is the school nurse at OH Herman Middle School in Van Vleck, where her only daughter also attends. MCC will also SURPRISE SSGT Joseph (Joe) Ros, who is the principal at OH Herman Middle School. Joseph is also in the Texas National Guard and has served a tour in Iraq. This will be a total surprise for him, since he thinks we are only honoring SGT Shelly Park. This will be a great opportunity for Matagorda County Cavalry and others to show our support for these two American Heroes. Please wear your Matagorda County Cavalry logo proudly. NOTE: Matagorda County Cavalry members and others on motorcycles or vehicles.
