***SHORT NOTICE RIDE*** Matagorda County Cavalry has been contacted to organize and assist the family of American Hero, Marine LCpl Joel Schurtz with a SURPRISE send off. Joel is home on leave from Afghanistan to enjoy Easter with his family and will be leaving for his next duty station Tuesday. This will be a great opportunity for Matagorda County Cavalry and others to show our support for this American Hero. Please wear your Matagorda County Cavalry logo proudly. Directions to Staging: From 7th St (Hwy 35) go north on Nichols Street till you come to Nichols Church of Christ at the corner of Nichols and Carey Smith Blvd. NOTE: Matagorda County Cavalry members and others on motorcycles or vehicles. |
