****FUNERAL ESCORT NOTICE****


Matagorda County Cavalry has been contacted to organize and assist the family of Fallen American Hero, Vietnam Era Veteran Owen Richey with a funeral escort. The family has requested MCC to escort the funeral procession from Markham Baptist Church in Markham, Texas to Hawley Cemetery near Blessing. This will be a great opportunity for Matagorda County Cavalry and others to show our honor, respect, and support for this Fallen American Hero and his family. Please wear your Matagorda County Cavalry logo proudly.

Note: If you prefer to go directly to the church instead of staging at the Bay City Civic Center, please be at the church no later than 1:30pm and await staging with the MCC group.

First Baptist Church Markham:6th Street & Ave J, Markham, TX

Directions: Coming into markham on FM 1468 off Hwy 35, turn left on Canal St (across from Handy Pantry Store) co ntinue on. Church is on right.


Note: Dress attire for this funeral escort is white shirt, black jeans and bolo tie for those that have them. If you do not have dress attire, biker attire is appropriate and welcome.

Final Destination: Markham Baptist Church then escort to Hawley Cemetery
