On Saturday Dec 5th we honored Volunteer Firefighter Peyton Ricker with our
1st Honorary Brazoria County Cavalry membership. Peyton suffers from
a brain tumor on the brain stem. The doctors gave Peyton a life expectance
of 9 to 18 months. Peyton is in the 17th month and may not live to see
Christmas. Not more than a month ago Peyton was playing soccer, now he is
confined to a wheel chair and can hardly speak. On Saturday we presented Peyton
with his own BCC vest and BCC hat. We also took Santa Claus, Lake Jackson
Fire department, Clute Fire department, Angleton Fire department, Lake Jackson
PD, Gary Day from BCSO, Clute City Counsel woman Shelly Keys, WOTBMTS and
Fishing for Heroes with us to see Peyton. We encourage everyone to visit
Peyton at
