***NOTICE*** Matagorda County Cavalry has been contacted to organize and assist the family of American Hero, Army Sgt. Elizabeth Davis with a SURPRISE welcome home celebration. Elizabeth has served a 15 month tour of duty in Iraq and will be deployed early 2010 to Afghanistan. This will be a great opportunity for the Matagorda County Cavalry and others to show our support for this American Hero. Please wear your Matagorda County Cavalry logo proudly. Directions to Staging: Approximately half mile past the Matagorda Cemetary on the left of Hwy 60, turn left on CR 213. This goes into the Matagorda Harbor. Go over the levee and the Waterfront Restaurant is on the right. Note: Arrive early if you wish to eat lunch here. They have seafood, steaks, and great burgers. NOTE: Matagorda County Cavalry members and others on motorcycles or vehicles. |
