Brazoria County Cavalry has
been contacted to organize and assist the family of Fallen American
Hero, Brazoria County Sheriff Office Deputy Richard "Ricky" Opperud.
Brazoria County Cavalry will participate in the escort for Ricky's final
call. We request that everyone be prompt at the times listed
below. Ricky leaves behind daughter Amber and son Josh. For
those that can not make the memorial
service and want to pay your respects, we encourage everyone to come to
the visitation. The visitation will be held between 5pm and
8pm on Sunday Nov 29th at Palms Funeral Home on Hwy 35 Angleton TX.
After the service at the Angleton cemetery, everyone is invited to
come to the Brazoria County Sheriffs Office for lunch. This will be a
great opportunity for the Brazoria County Cavalry and others to show our
support for this Fallen American Hero and his family. Please wear
your Brazoria County Cavalry logo proudly.
Note: This will
be a White shirt, Black pants and Bolo for those who have them.
