**NOTICE Matagorda County Cavalry will travel to El Campo to show our support for the soon departing Guardsmen from El Campo's Armory. ******************************************************************* Deployment Ceremony Saturday A public salute for soon-to-be-departing Guardsmen from El Campo’s Armory will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3 in the El Campo High School gym. All are invited to attend. Sunday morning, Guardsmen from El Campo’s Armory will report to Fort Bliss in El Paso for three months training before heading to Iraq for a nine-month tour of duty. NOTE: This is not a Matagorda County Cavalry organized ride, however we encourage our members to participate in sending our American Heroes off with pride and honor. Those wishing to ride over to El Campo as a group are welcome and encouraged to do so. We will leave the Bay City Civic Center at 12:45PM Saturday. Please wear your Matagorda Coun ty Cavalry logo proudly as we support our American Heroes. NOTE: Matagorda County Cavalry members and others on motorcycles or vehicles.
