**NOTICE** Brazoria County Cavalry has been contacted to organize and assist the family of a Fallen American Hero, Army Veteran Jon Rape. Matagorda County Cavalry will support Brazoria County Cavalry. Jon was working for a security company in Afghanistan. Jon was scheduled to be home with his family two days after he was killed by a roadside bomb. Jon served two tours in Iraq and was working in Afghanistan to escort supplies from military bases to the soldiers fighting in the field. Jon's father is also one of our local Heroes serving as a Police Officer for the Clute Police Department. This will be a great opportunity for the Matagorda County Cavalry and others to show our support for this Fallen American Hero and his family as well as supporting BCC. Please wear your Matagorda County Cavalry logo proudly. NOTE: For those who have white shirts, black pants and Bolo ties please wear them. NOTE: Matagorda County Cavalry members and others on motorcycles or vehicles.
