Brazoria County Cavalry has been contacted to organize
and assist the family of a Fallen Veteran, American Hero, Army, John
Rape. John paid the ultimate sacrifice on Saturday August 15th
working for a security company in Afghanistan. The Rape
family has requested BCC to escort them once they have made more
arrangements. I want to thank all of you who were able to put out
American Flags in Brazoria and then were able to ride out to the Rape's
home. We know that there was no notice to go, but yet many
of you changed your plans and went to share your condolences.
I am sure that your presence made a difference to the Rape family.
The Cavalry will fulfill the request of the Rape family when the time
comes. Their request will override any other rides we have
scheduled. We will send more info as we get it. Please keep
the Rape family in your thoughts and prayers in this time of sorrow.
White shirts, black pants and Bolo's will be the
attire for those who have them.
