**AMERICAN HERO MEMORIAL NOTICE** Matagorda County Cavalry has been contacted to organize and assist the family of American Hero and Korean War Veteran, Wayne-O Evans with an escort to his memorial service. This escort will stage in Sargent, TX at the Sargent Fire Department, then proceed to meet with Susan Evans, wife of Wayne-O. We will then escort Susan and family to the VFW Hall in Sargent for the Memorial Service. Matagorda County Cavalry has been invited into the memorial service and also to eat afterward. Please wear your Matagorda County Cavalry logo proudly. NOTE: From the intersection of FM 2611 and FM 457, go 2.5 miles toward Sargent to the staging area. NOTE: Matagorda County Cavalry members and others on motorcycles or vehicles.
