Brazoria County Cavalry members,
PLEASE READ THIS COMPLETE EMAIL. THERE IS A LOT OF
INFO BELOW
State Representative Dennis Bonnen would like to
present the Brazoria County Cavalry resolution on Brazoria County Day,
Tuesday March 10, at the Capitol located at: 1100 Congress Ave. Austin
TX. 78701 (512-463-0063) The House of Representatives convenes at 10:00
a.m. We recommend you be seated by 9:55am in the gallery. Dennis would
like to have the members of the Brazoria County Cavalry seated in the
House gallery at that time and he will recognize them from the House
floor. The gallery is located on the third floor of the Capitol
building. Brazoria County Cavalry Members are requested to be at the
South Steps of the Capitol at 9:35am for a photo. The Brazoria County
Day delegation hosts a breakfast on the morning of Tuesday March 10 at
7:30 am located at the Hyatt Regency –Austin at 208 Barton Springs
Rd (512-477-1234). Hyatt, Texas Room Sections 4-7, 2nd Floor. We
recommend you make the breakfast if possible. There is no charge for the
breakfast. Also if you are going on Monday, starting at 5:00pm at the
Hyatt there is a meet and greet and also some goodie bags for you. We
recommend you make this if possible also.
Senator Joan Huffman also wishes to honor the Cavalry with a
resolution in the Senate on March 10. Senator Huffman will join
Rep. Bonnen for a picture with the Cavalry at 9:35 am on the South
Steps. You will then proceed to the House for Rep. Bonnen's resolution
at 10:00 am. Following the presentation and adoption of the House
resolution, we will then escort the Cavalry members over to the Senate
Chamber where Sen. Huffman will present her resolution.
Brazoria County Cavalry members,
We encourage you all to come and be recognized for your work and
dedication to supporting our American Heroes, Military, Police Officers,
Fire Fighters and EMT’s. Many of us will be leaving on Monday
March 9th. The staging info is below with 2
staging areas and other info you may need. This will NOT be a ride
sanctioned by Brazoria County Cavalry Inc even though everyone is
welcome to ride together. You will be riding at your own risk and will
be responsible for your own wellbeing.
Please wear your Brazoria County Cavalry logo proudly.
