MCC Message ***REMINDER***VFW 9-11 Flag Ceremony***

***REMINDER*** The VFW invites Matagorda County Cavalry to attend 9-11 Flag Ceremony: The Philip H. Parker VFW Post 2438 will have a flag ceremony at 9:00 am on September 11, 2009. The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) post is located on Highway 60 North in Bay City. Matagorda County Cavalry will attend the ceremony to show our respect and honor for so many Americans that lost their lives that day. Many brave American Heroes, Firefighters and Police Officers paid the ultimate sacrifice to save these citizens of New York. This will be a great opportunity for the Matagorda County Cavalry and others to honor these American Heroes. Please wear your Matagorda County Cavalry logo proudly. DIRECTIONS to STAGING: From the interssection of Hwy 35 (7th St) and Hwy 60 (Ave F) go north on Hwy 60 for .5 mile on right to staging. NOTE: If you miss staging and or want to go directly to the VFW, please be there by 8:30AM so you do not disturb the Flag C eremony at 9:00AM sharp. NOTE: Matagorda County Cavalry members and others on motorcycles or vehicles. |
