**FUNERAL ESCORT NOTICE** Matagorda County Cavalry has been contacted to organize and assist the family of Fallen American Hero Veteran Leon Bannert with an escort. The family has requested MCC to escort the funeral procession from St Philip's Catholic Church in El Campo to the burial site. This will be a great opportunity for Matagorda County Cavalry and others to show our honor and support for this Fallen American Hero. Note: Dress attire for this escort is white shirt, black jeans and bolo tie if you wish to dress as Committee Members and Officers traditionally do for these events. Note: For those members that cannot be at the staging area in Bay City, the address of the St Philip's Catholic Church is 304 W. Church St. El Campo. Coming into El Campo on Hwy 71, go 5 blocks past Hwy 59 to Church Sreet. Turn left on Church St and go 2 blocks to St Philip's at Church and Depot street. We will try to stage at the the church at approximately 9:30AM < br> NOTE: Matagorda County Cavalry members and others on motorcycles or vehicles.
