Brazoria County Cavalry members,

The Henry family is who we are adopting for Christmas.  We did a ride for this family in 2009 to help send Army Sgt 1st Class Boots Henry off for his 2nd tour in Iraq.  The six children of this family received gifts from Christmas Cheer/VFW for Christmas, however the financial strain with Boots away fighting for freedom has been tough.  We know that some BCC members have already donated to help this family and we thank you for it.  That amount as of right now is $385.00.  Those donations plus what ever we can raise will go to help keep them in their home by paying toward their house note.  The family is two months behind, and their payments are  $968.00 a month.  If we can help them get caught up, they should be able to make it from there.  Boots does not know the financial problem that his family is having because he has enough to worry about.  BCC members, thank you for all you have done over the past two years and thank you in advance for blessing this family.

If you want to make a donation and can not make the ride to see this family, please make the check payable to Samona Henry, put in the memo line mortgage. We will also take donations at up coming rides until we meet with the family on Dec 27th.
