Brazoria County Cavalry has been contacted by Matagorda County Cavalry to assist them in a funeral service for one of our Fallen Hero and member.  Matagorda County Cavalry has been contacted to organize and assist the family of a Fallen American Hero, Ollie "Buddy" Vargas with a funeral escort. Buddy served in Vietnam and Cambodia. More recently, Buddy served as a security contractor and mechanic in Iraq from 2004-2005. Buddy is the brother of BCC and MCC member Steven Vargas and uncle of MCC member Benjamin Vargas. The family has asked Matagorda County Cavalry to organize an escort from Palacios Funeral Home to Saint Anthony's Catholic Church and following the service, escort from the church to Palacios Cemetery. This will be a great opportunity for the The Cavalry and others to show our support for this Fallen American Hero and his family. Please wear your Brazoria County Cavalry and Matagorda County Cavalry logo proudly.

NOTE: Those that have Long sleeved white shirts, black jeans, and bolo ties, please wear them for the escort. If you do not have this attire, or wish not to wear it, that is perfectly ok with us and we want all members to participate that wish to do so.

NOTE: Brazoria County Cavalry  and Matagorda County Cavalry members and others on motorcycles or vehicles.
